Delete your KnockHub account

This page explains how to permanently delete your account on KnockHub, the video-first recruiting network operated by The Future of Roofing. Deletion is free, available to every member regardless of where you live, and removes your data — not just your access.

Delete from the app

1. Open the KnockHub app and go to the More tab.
2. Tap Account & settings.
3. Scroll to Data & privacy and tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm. You are signed out immediately.

Delete from the web

1. Sign in to KnockHub on the web.
2. Open your account settings.
3. In Your data & account, choose Delete account and confirm.

Can’t sign in?

Email privacy@knockhub.app from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We verify the request and complete it within one month, as described in our Privacy Policy.

What happens to your data

• 30-day grace window. Your account is immediately hidden from the marketplace. Sign back in during those 30 days to cancel the deletion and restore your account.
• After 30 days, erasure is permanent. Your profile, posts, comments, messages, intros, follows, and uploaded media (profile photo, intro video, verification evidence) are deleted and cannot be recovered.
• Limited exceptions. We keep a minimal security audit record for accountability and fraud prevention (GDPR Art. 17(3)) for up to 24 months. Encrypted backups age out on a rolling 30-day cycle. Automatic crash traces held by our error-reporting processor age out on their own ~90-day cycle.

Prefer to pause instead?

The same Data & privacy section offers Deactivate account, which hides your profile from the marketplace while keeping your data intact. You can reactivate any time by signing back in.
